It's very, very nice there. The food is also served nicely. Nice personel. The wine cellar is also very nicely and comfortably furnished.

1 minus point, there were two of us. My meal came 4 minutes later. If you don't go out to eat for two, you want to start together. But 5 * for taste, quality, creativity, ambience ... great.

We went to eat with a group of 20 people. Fish unfortunately a bit dry and clear. Roast beef yummy. Unfortunately, everything takes a little too long. Advice on the menu sequence but very good

Simply great from the service to the coffee. Everything fitted The sauce for the spaetzle was world class. They understand their job very well.

New menu with sensational dishes. You have to have been to this beautiful place and you MUST have eaten in this great restaurant. Frank Land with employees, just GOOD, no, VERY GOOD WITH A STAR. Sitting outside right by the town hall is very nice. Interesting, varied culinary cuisine. Rostbraten extremely good meat quality and delicious sauce, of course I mean the jus. ;-)

Great restaurant with delicious regional dishes in a fantastic old town setting. Vegans are also discussed here, which we really appreciate.

The market economy is a great restaurant in the wine town of Besigheim. You sit on the historic market square in a very nice atmosphere with delicious food. Frank Land runs the restaurant with great commitment and love for people and for food. The market economy and Besigheim is always worth a visit

We decided to go and try this restaurant after a suggestion from a colleague and since we were in Besigheim for lunch hour it was the right occasion. The atmosphere is really cosy, an old building renovated with care and a modern touch. Service was attentive and smiling (that is always a nice touch), we ordered food(I had a chicken breast with Asian vegetables and noodles and my boyfriend calb liver with a special apple-Calvados sauce). The sight was beautiful and the taste even better! I really loved the combination of vegetables and aromatics, everything was fresh and tasty, cooking point of the meat perfect (tender and juicy). I was really satisfied and since I was too full to order dessert (next time I will!), together with the bill we got 2 dark chocolate pralines...heaven in a bite. Price was absolutely reasonable for what we had. Absolutely recommended.

Were eating here with work colleagues today. The food was quite good, the ambience is also very cozy. Only the map could be a little bigger. Otherwise everything was very tasty and good. Would definitely come back again.

Good, friendly

The restaurant it's looking nice but the service and the food it's below expectations. The waiter forgat to bring some drinks and the time between starter and main dishes was very long. The food taste it's not something which can impress you and make you forget about the long time waited. Defenetly we will not go there again.

By all means make a detour to visit this place. In the center of Besigheim old town this is a hotel of a place. We took the four gear (sorry lame joke at 4-gang), the four course Surprise menu and were not disappointed. Starters of Sashimi, Asian inspired soup, followed by Barbary duck main course and topped off with a delicious dessert medley. Not to forget the gorgeous local wine that the ever so attentive staff matched to our dishes without ever giving the surprise away. We will absolutely be going back there and so should you. Cuisine style: Modern, Posh Price Range: 4-gang Surprise menu for €42 pp and I would have happily paid more for that quality.

An excellent and high quality restaurant in the middle of beautiful Besigheim. Rustic-modern ambience with very nice and courteous staff. The food is delicious and visually always an eye-catcher. For such a high-class kitchen, you are planning to spend a little time waiting. An absolute recommendation. Big praise to Mr. Land and his team!

We were in the midst of traveling and spontaneously decided to stop in Besigheim for dinner, so did not have reservations. They were full that evening, but offered us a spot at their lovely bar, which was perfect for us. No English menu, but the staff speaks English and helped translate the items I was not familiar with (Google translate can be less than helpful with German food). The meal was phenomenal. The restaurant is really special and the town is one of those storybook places. Highly recommend.
